St. Patrick Parish is proud to offer our parish-sponsored Athletic Program: St. Patrick Athletic Association (SPAA). SPAA is part of the Archdiocese of Detroit Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Athletics and is a parish-based program that is dedicated to the development of youth as a student athlete by encouraging them to express Catholic values, sportsmanship and fair play that leads to a positive athletic experience.
The Catholic Youth Organization offers team sport opportunities for 5-6 Grade and 7-8 Grade youth.
The Mission of SPAA:
SPAA Sports and Athletics are one component of St. Patrick's comprehensive youth ministry program which enables the partnership of parents, coaches, priest, religious, teacher and adult leaders to manage and support a sports program. This organization allows our youth to grow in their relationship with God and come to better understand themselves and their Catholic faith.
We will do this by INSTILLING into our athletes....
