Moms &Tots
Moms of toddlers are meeting with their little ones at St. Patrick Nursery on the 3rd Friday of every month at 9:30 a.m. We have fun meeting other moms while our kids play. Praise Moves for Women
St. Patrick Adult Meeting, Rm. Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. beginning September 7th with instructor Michelle Baird no fee; (also no child care due to pre- school session in Nursery). Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, too. We will be stretching! Call Christian Service at 248-698-3103 for more information. This should be fun!!!!
Nursery
We need your help in the parish Nursery during the RCIA classes which will begin in September. The classes meet from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. almost every Sunday. It would help us - and those participating in the RCIA - if you could commit to one Sunday a month. If you are a teen, this could count for "service" hours required by your school or Confirmation class. To respond to this request, please contact Catherine Manning in the Christian Service Office, 248-698-3100 ext. 17. We also need help in the 10 o'clock Nursery -- we need 4 adults who are willing to supervise the nursery one Sunday a month (Sept. 12- May 22). That is a total of only 13 1/2 hours for the whole year. Requirements include:
NOTE: the next Protecting God's Children workshop will be on Saturday, August 21st from 8 a.m.-noon here at St. Patrick. Call Marge 248-698-3103 ext 16 if you can serve one Sunday a month for this important position.
The nursery operates during the 10:00 am Sunday Mass on most Sundays of the year. The nursery relies on parental involvement. From September through May, co-chairs schedule adults for child care responsibilities. For the summer months, the nursery operates on a co-op basis. There is no fee involved with use of the nursery. The nursery is located in the Parish Activity Center close to the east parking lot.
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
Several Scout troops meet at the parish. Girl Scout and Brownie troops made up of students at St. Patrick School meet after school. Cub Scout Pack meetings are held monthly on a Friday evening. Boy Scout Troop 326 meets in the parish hall every Thursday evening. Call Christian Service at 248-698-3104 for details.
New Parishioner Registration
We gather once a month to welcome, inform and register new parishioners. Private registration appointments are available fro persons who are inable to attend a gathering due to job commitments or other constraints. For details and/or an appointment call the Parish Office at 248-698-3100.
