Parish Nurse Ministry Involves professional health care persons who are parishioners. Leadership training and other services are provided through St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland.
Our blood drive occurs twice a year. Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation.
When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
From its beginning, the American Red Cross has formed a community of service, of generous, strong and decent people bound by beliefs beyond themselves. The American Red Cross blood donor embodies this principle. Please join us in our mission to maintain a safe and stable blood supply.

Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick - This can be arranged by contacting Christian Service at 248-698-3103. The Sacrament of Anointing can take place in the home, in the hospital, or at the church. Persons should be anointed before surgery or extended therapy or treatment, if there is a condition such as a heart problem, diabetes, an addiction, or mental or emotional illness. The elderly and those with compromised immune systems should also be anointed. This sacrament is for healing, not death, and can be received more than once. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is celebrated during a weekend Mass at least once a year.
