The Great Adventure Bible Study Series
The Great Adventure is a Catholic Bible learning system to make the complex simple by teaching the story of the Bible. Every day, more and more people are encountering God’s Word through the methods taught in these studies. Here at St. Patrick current study sessions occur on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Tuesday mornings and Friday mornings. For specific information please contact the Faith Formation office at 248-698-4388.
The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation
A clear understanding of the underlying Scriptural narrative is essential to all Bible reading and study, and for this reason The Bible Timeline is the first foundational study in The Great Adventure Bible Study Series. The Bible Timeline is basic enough to suit those who haven’t studied the Bible before while at the same time offering ways to go deeper that will challenge the Bible study veteran. Salvation History is covered from its beginning in Genesis through the coming of Christ and the establishment of the Catholic Church.
Study currently meets on alternating weeks:
Tuesday at 7:00pm in the Adult Meeting Room
Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Social Hall
James: Pearls for Wise Living
James is one of the most practical books of the Bible. Like the book of Proverbs, it is a book of wisdom, a collection of teachings on issues faced by ordinary Christians in everyday life. For anyone who has struggled to live a truly Christian life, James offers a wealth of practical solutions for handling and even sanctifying everyday circumstances.
