"Gloves for Kids" Car Wash
Our next service project is going to be the “GLOVES FOR KIDS” CAR WASH...This organization, in coordination with the Detroit Tigers, helps provide baseball equipment to kids who do not have the funds in order to purchase the equipment. Our CAR WASH event is going to be on Sunday, July 11th from 9am to 1pm at the Kroger Grocery store at Union Lake and Commerce Rd. Most of the proceeds from the car wash will help purchase baseball gloves, batting gloves, and bats for underprivileged kids in the area. We will also be using some of the funds we receive to help purchase paint to paint our NEW SP TEEN room (formerly the YOUTH ROOM).
If you would like to help with the car wash, respond back to this through email and tell me what time you would like to help. Will you be willing to help the whole time, or part of the time? Name and phone number would be greatly appreciated as well. There will also be a permission slip that will need to be filled out. I will send it through email and post it on our website within the next couple of days. By the way...IF you NEED SERVICE HOURS, this is a GREAT way to get the hours in that you need...hint hint

Bible Study
Coming this fall a Bible study for teens.
Dynamic teen presenter Mark Hart makes the Bible come alive for Catholic teens by unpacking God's Word in a way they can relate to. T3 teaches teens the Bible by showing them the "big picture" of salvation history.
The T3 DVDs are packed with relevant insights for young believers who are immersed in a culture of relativism and desperately in need of God's truth. The net result: teens begin to wrap their minds and hearts around the Scriptures. They come to see the Bible as a relevant part of their lives.
