Bible Studies

Welcome to the Fall 2020-2021 Bible Study Series!

We are excited to get back together again, to step into scripture and hear what God wants us to hear about living in His world at this time.

 Why should you get involved in a Bible study?

     * Get into the Word

     * Grow Closer to God

     * Explore the Scriptures with Fellowship

     * Join a Community of Believers

St. Patrick Bible Studies are designed to help the ordinary become extraordinary by growing in knowledge of the sciptures, while deepening an understanding of the riches of our Catholic faith. We offer small groups allowing for greater connection with other believers in growing our understanding of the Bible as Jesus' small group of disciples did.

Our studies are being offered in-person (as well as on Zoom) depending on the number of participants and any social distancing guideline updates. We will be continuing to update the specific books being studied and time offerings, so please check here and our bulletin frequently so you don't miss your favorite Bible study.

If you have any additional questions, please email Lisa Powaser at [email protected].

Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother

Join us beginning Thursday, November 5th for "Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother", a powerful Bible study designed to deepen our understanding of the Virgin Mother. Filmed on location in the Holy Land, this study will place you in the midst of the powerful drama of Mary's earthly life, taking you through her joys and sorrows. You will learn how she works in our lives today, drawing us ever closer to her divine Son. This is an 8-week series beginning November 5, on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Please contact Lisa Powaser for additional information at [email protected]

Join us for a Bible study focused on the life of Jesus Christ!

Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life is a 10-week study anchored in the life of Jesus Christ as presented in the Gospels and focuses on who Jesus was. Come as we explore the entirety of Jesus' life-who he is, what ihe is really like, what he taught, what he did for our salvation, and what all of this means for us as Catholics today.

This study was filmed in the Holy Land to showcase the experience and world in which Jesus lived and taught-the historical context, the politics, the clashing cultures, the history, and the ancient land-and see where the most significant events of his life took place, from his infancy to his acension.

In this study, you will learn...

  • Who Jesus is and how he answers the longings of the human heart.
  • Why Jesus was baptized.
  • The significance of the Transfiguration.
  • The essentials of Christology explained in a way the average Catholic can understand.
  • The mystery and meaning of the Resurrection, Christ's triumph over death.
  • The nature of Jesus' mission and the redemption of humanity.
  • Our role today as Catholics in the Great Commission.

This Bible study is being led by Lori Clark and will be offered through Zoom only on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Program dates: 9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 11/24, 12/8, 1/12, 1/26 There is a $25 fee for the workbook.
