Giving to others is one of the best ways to show our gratitude to the Lord for the many blessings He has given to us. Your generosity makes a direct impact on others in our community and beyond.
No amount of giving is too small to make a significant difference to those around you. There are so many opportunities to give of the time, talents and treasures the Lord has bestowed upon each of us.
Below you can find all sorts of ways that you can help others. Check back often for updates. Thank you so very much for your willingness to be of service.
St. Patrick is participating in a Lenten project to supply food for Hope Warming Center who are making up meal bags to go. We need donations of soft granola bars, cheese or peanut butter filled cracker packs, fruit cups, juice boxes or cash donations for our week which is March 14th, so please have your donations here by March 7th. We need enough to fill 400 lunch bags because they serve 80 people per day--5 days a week. Please place your gifts by the statues in the Church. Thank you for your service!
Christian Service is collecting new and clean, gently used baby items for local pregnancy centers. Our baby shower is 'virtual' as COVID-19 restrictions are still in place. Gift suggestions include: sleepers, onesies, socks, receiving blankets, crib sheets, diapers in sizes 1-4, baby wipes, washcloths, towels, pacifiers, bottles, bibs, personal hygeine items for baby, baby gift cards and monetary donations
Please drop off your baby gifts Saturdays March 6th and 13th before Mass from 4:30-5:00pm and Sundays March 7th and 14th from 10:00am-1:00pm in the chruch vestibule. Look for the balloon bouquet for the drop off location. Thank you so much for supporting this worthy cause.
During the 40 days of Lent, we will reflect on how hunger and malnutrition affect our human family, and on the need to take action to end this global injustice. Pick up your family's rice bowl in the Church vestibules or the parish office! Visit crsricebowl.org for more information.
Join us Friday's from 4pm-8pm (or while supplies last) through Lent for a Curbside Fish Fry Dinner! Beginning Friday, February 19, our Knights of Columbus members will be serving up their famous fish fry dinners (and pizza) and you will want to get there early before they are all sold out. All proceeds go to helping the Knights accomplish the many, many good works they do for the parish and the greater community. We hope to see you there.
Recently, the requests for help with rent, utilities and food has increased greatly as you would expect with so many out of work. Please remember, St. Vincent de Paul has been helping families throughout the COVID-19 crisis. If you are able, please consider a donation to enable them to continue to help those in need. The best way to get fund to St. Vincent is to write a check out to St. Vincent de Paul and place it in an envelope in the collection box or mail it to the Parish (Attn: St. Vincent de Paul) or in the poor boxes at the back of the church. Thank you for your generous support!
